“Dolly” -BIS/MBISS Am. & Cdn GCh. Yasashiikuma Smoky Mountn Maid, CGN

This is probably my favourite picture ever taken of Dolly.   Ungroomed, after an overnight car ride, in season and straight out of the crate this was a casual shot taken by Doug Greig outside of the Western Reserve puppy match in April 2010.   It was totally unintentional but the train track in the background emphasizes just how level Dolly’s topline is.

Dolly has been a dream come true for me.   Not only is she an absolute joy to live with, but she has achieved almost every goal that I have set in my breeding program.  She is a National Speicalty winner in Canada and a Best in Show winner under judges who have knowledge of the breed.  She is the only Canadian Grand Champion Cardigan and only Canadian Bred Best in Show winning bitch (as at the time of this writing), and earned her American Championship with all specialty wins, including back to back Nationals in 2009 and 2010.   During 2010 she earned her American Grand Championship, making her the only dual Grand Champion, as well as winning the e Cheasapeake Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club Specialty in the U.S.   Here are some highlights of her career.
